SPEAK OUT: SOCIAL JUSTICE & GENDER ISSUES

I don't think it is fair, just or right to leave ladies out of taking part in family inheritance. I understand that it may not be feasible to make them direct physical heirs of fixed assets such as communally sited lands, property or other proprietary real estate due to the fact that they would likely get married and be maritally migrated out of original fatherland into a completely new lineage and heritage.
However, consideration should be given as to what assets and property can be moved or monetized, so women can be coheirs in some respect. I think it is injustice to rule them out completely. I understand this evil trend even affects wives in some cultures after they lose their husbands; cultures that are abrasive, inhumane and insensitive to the plight of widows.
Well, there have been certain speculations and well-worded justifications for such ill treatment pointing to possible involvement and indictment of the wife in the demise of her husband. But is that rule not somewhat lopsided? The rule should hold true irrespective of gender, in all such cases or incidents of spousal decease, upon investigation and verification. Otherwise, it is clearly the wrinkled face of social injustice.

Really, I think some of such unwholesome practices stem from a historically warped and dysfunctional perception of the girl child in certain archaic cultures. This error and ignorance must be corrected with truth and knowledge. I am male. I am first son. I am from one of such male chauvinistic cultures. But I sincerely believe it to be wrong and unjust to womenfolk. I also believe this is the perspective of the One who created humans to be male and female.
Surely, there are distinctive features and functionalities peculiar to each gender by nature's endowment. However, we must beware of the different shades of artificial, counter-intuitive or counterproductive bias that have long bedeviled the human race. Gender discrimination is one of such historical and sociocultural prejudices.
In essence, in matters of inheritance, there should be some consideration for accorded benefit to the female folk.
