MARRIAGE MATTERS: AN ENCOURAGEMENT & ADMONITION

It is extremely important to make sure you marry right. It will determine whether you have a great or hellish experience or perhaps just a mediocre relationship like cohabiting roommates. This will particularly be the result of your choice of partner and perhaps, even more importantly, on what you do in marriage based on your mutual preparedness and willingness to learn and do as much as you can to make it great.
But for those who think they have made the mistake of marrying the wrong partner, don't give up, don't let Satan take advantage of the situation to kill you with destructive depression, don't commit suicide and go to hell fire because of earthly marriage. In the eternal Kingdom of Heaven, there is no marriage. For the children of God shall be like angels with celestial bodies. Focus on Eternity. Call upon God. He will deliver you from it or help you through it. He knows how to resurrect the dead and turn water to wine. But surely you shall know many sorrows indeed in this life if you're in a bad marriage. It can cut short your life and undermine or truncate your calling, finance, health, etc.
Singles, you are blessed. You have the benefit of more knowledge and the opportunity to make a good choice. Flee wrong relationships before you are sucked in by emotions or pressure. Honor the red flags. Don't marry carelessly, blindly or superficially. Pray. Open your eyes. Assess objectively. Be honest. Don't be needy or greedy. Ask the right questions. Get knowledge. Seek mentors. Read. Listen to your heart. Grow up very well, work on yourself first and have a mature and independent adult mind. Marriage is for the mature who live by true love, the fear of God and understanding hearts not for the self-centered, dishonest and immature. Note that true love is characterized by a serving and selfless heart and is not limited to only romantic feelings, charm and attraction although attraction is important for complete connection to take place in heart, mind and body. Marriage is a lifelong "covenant" or commitment not a momentary ceremony.
