RELIGION OR COMMERCE?


There is a lot of commercialization in religious circles. But religion is not commerce. God is not for sale. The Gospel is not big business. 

 When the focus and preoccupation of religion largely drifts to money making and business building, apostasy has set in and the enemy is on overtime. 

 Beware of false religion.

True religion is to know, fear and love God and to love, bless and serve humanity. Know God for yourself. Fear God, walk justly, love mercy and depart from evil. Love the Lord with all your heart, soul and strength. Love your neighbor as yourself. You can't do it by your self will or in the life of the flesh, so get to know Jesus the only Savior of the world and the only Hope of humanity. He is the only truth, the true life and the only way to God the Father for all of mankind. Completely open your heart to Him and receive His life, love and essence on a personal level. Be conditioned and regulated by the Spirit of God and live a rich spiritual life in all godliness, righteousness, holiness, meekness, compassion, mercy, hope, faith, love, self control, patience, peace and joy.

 THIS IS THE WILL OF THE FATHER: THAT WE MAY MATURE SPIRITUALLY TO BE LIKE CHRIST. AND THIS IS THE PURPOSE OF TRUE SPIRITUAL MINISTRY. 

All the hype for merchandising and monetization in the blessed and holy name of religion are in error. Be not deceived. Take heed to yourself lest you be misled by religious fad and all that's trending, gradually but innocently drifting and distracted from the true focus of the Gospel and quality of the Christian life. Don't serve your will or ego. Don't let any spiritual leader appeal to your selfishness, vanity or greed. Resist the temptation to monetize religion in spite of the harsh economic realities. The goal of religion is not funds or fame, for this error has led many into commercialized religion for personal gain. Surely, those called to serve God's people and preach the Gospel, who dedicate their lives to this great call to service and do labor therein, should also receive their sustenance, maintenance or livelihood from it as laborers, messengers and emissaries who must not be sent at their own expense. However, do well to productively engage commerce not religion for licit profiting. God will bless your honest industrious endeavors.
Understand what God's will is in every matter. Surrender your will to His will, if indeed He is your God. Truly make Jesus your Master and Model. Walk with Him who loves you, gave Himself for you and wants to prepare you as His spotless, precious bride. He's coming back to take you home. This world is not home. Don't settle. Journey on. Endure what you need to endure. Fix your heart on the glory that is to be revealed. Christ in you is the hope of that eternal, superlative glory. You're called to partake in the divine nature by experiencing God to know Him for yourself and to be progressively changed into the image of His dear Son, Jesus Christ the Lord. Make your calling and election sure. Seek Him with your whole heart. Be close to your God. Consider for yourself if all that has been written here is true, in the light of Scriptures. If not, discard it.

  What is Worship? Worship is reverential adoration and devotion. It is the deeply embedded heart attitude and habitual practice of holding highest regard, giving supreme adulation, paying unparalleled homage, rendering foremost service or according topmost dedication to someone or something.  Human beings were designed to worship. This means, we are all naturally wired to be devoted to something or someone we reckon or perceive to be most grandiose or to be the greatest Thing or Being worthy of our keenest attention, truest affection, deepest love and highest loyalty. SCRIPTURE IS INERRANT AND SUFFICIENT

  The Holy Scripture is inerrant and sufficient. Inerrant simply means incapable of being wrong. Sufficient of course means enough or adequate. To deny the inerrancy of Scripture is to call into question and cast doubt on the God revealed in the Scripture, on Christ who died, rose and is coming back as Judge and King, and on man’s salvation from eternal damnation which is solely based on the Cross and Work of Christ, the Word of God.  Scripture is either true or the God of the Bible, who is the God of love and righteousness, mercy and justice, grace and truth, revealed by and in the Lord Jesus Christ as “Our Father who is in Heaven” is not real but a fable or figment of man's imagination.  The Bible is the absolute truth of God. Albeit misunderstood and misused by so many in the false profession and practice of Christian religion for inglorious purposes and transient benefits, the Bible is essentially about the Gospel of Christ, which is the power of God unto salvation to everyone
