SELF-AWARENESS
99% of people are not self-aware.
It’s not a job for the mentally lethargic.
It’s not something the insincere can do.
It takes courage and total honesty and a healthy self image to evaluate yourself and face the facts.
Many are running awsy from themselves only after seeing a glimpse of the demons within them.
Many are hiding from themselves and distracting themselves from knowing themselves.
Many are avoiding themselves in different ways.
Only the mentally strong can look themselves in the mirror and accept the full picture: good and bad.
Only the those with inner strength can admit to the dark sides of their hearts and minds.
Only those with integrity can admit to the down sides of their character.
Only those with humility can graciously handle the glories of their destiny with levelheaded sobriety.
Without emotional strength and stability, people easily fall into deep depression, or into excessive pride or conceit—the opposite extremes of facing either their shortcomings or their superpowers.
How self-aware are you really? How self-knowing?
Do you see yourself for who or what you really are?
What will you do to gain more self-awareness?
What will you do if you become more self aware?
