WRITTEN CONTRACTS

Ensuring that you have a written contract in place doesn’t not mean you don’t trust the other person.

It protects everyone involved from possible issues in the future and should be a welcome activity.

Any person who has problem with prompt and agile execution of a written contract probably has their unspoken motive for doing so and it is typically not in the best interest of the other party or parties.

Note it most carefully for more critical purposes.

Discuss it with other knowledgeable persons for further consideration and advice, then escalate if ever it becomes necessary or expedient to do so.

In any meaningful business, a casual talk with a smile or a handshake is not always enough.

Put the terms in writing and append the appropriate signatures if you really mean business, and if you are sincere and if you truly have nothing to hide.

Protect the interests of the stakeholders.

Give them requisite assurance and validity.

Respect the confidence people place in you.

Above all, do the right thing at the right time.
