PROFESSIONAL CHARACTER

A selfish person limits themselves.

They reduce their chances of making more money.

Imagine you call a professional (say, a lawyer) for their services in certain a buisness activity.

They simply prepare requisite documentation and get their percentage(s), some of which may even be recurring, as in the case of retainership.

But rather than give satisfactory services and honor the agreed upon terms, they try to play a fast one on you by injecting subtle loopholes in the system.

Like including or introducing ambiguities and loose phrases or clauses in the contract that can swing interpretations in different plausible directions.

For a business you called them to participate in.

This is capable of making them lose any further opportunities you may have brought their way.

They have shown their real character and color.

Their greed and sometimes envy have earned them the right to be disqualified from future endeavors.

Recommendations will be pretty much jettisoned not as a punitive measure but as a precautionary approach to protect others from similar scenario.

Envy or greed typically make people irrational.

Competence without character is a bad sell.

Abientot!
