ABOVE AND BEYOND





No matter how confident a man is, he doesn’t cross a busy expressway or highway without caution.

A time comes when seeming confidence is nothing but foolishness or ignorance.

Many are crossing into eternity without thought or reflection about what life is and who the Creator is.

The Gospel to them is a fabrication from the West.

Where did they get that version of the origin of the God of Creation and Creator of all things from?

They obviously haven’t made honest research.

They have allowed their sentiments and biases get the better part of them in spite of their literacy.

It always pays to do one’s due diligence in objective research and critical thinking before one reaches some sort of conclusion about any subject.

Beyond that, there’s a deep work that the Spirit of God does in the heart of man and it produces fruit.

Spiritual fruit that will include the recognition of and willing full submission to God’s Rule in their lives.

Also with true conviction and contrition for any and every (seen or unseen) transgression of God’s laws, and continuing and consistent cultivation of Christlike character and genuine godliness. 

Reflection: As a professing Christian, how do you do vis-a-vis these standards and spiritual realities?

A cry from Heaven—above and beyond.

  Do we have genuine connections? I’ll give a quick definition of the word supplant. So I can dwell more on the concept of support. To supplant means to take the place of, to displace, to replace or to undermine.  To support is to be actively interested in and concerned for the success of a person or thing, for example: supporting a particular sports team. It also means to provide assistance to, or give approval, comfort, or encouragement to.  It is a product of goodwill and belief in someone or something.  Many of us support different football teams which we gladly and passionately refer to as “our teams”.
