IMMUNE TO IGNORANCE?


Some people may think that their intellectual and academic prowess or career and financial success immunizes them from gross religious deception.

Not at all, for that is purely rooted in their personal scriptural and spiritual ignorance.

Even professors can be deceived by false prophets.

Doctors, lawyers and engineers can be completely ignorant of God and the realm of the spirit.

Even the materially wealthy may be spiritually poor.

Even the elderly may be spiritually immature.

These are different fields of thought and play.

You can’t throw money at demons as exorcism.

You can’t solve false doctrines with calculus.

You have to play by the rules of the peculiar game.

If you truly seek to know the truth about God, then you have to wholeheartedly seek His truth.

You have to do the diligence to know the truth.

You have to humble yourself as a person and seek to genuinely know God for your own self.

You need to give quality time and attention to learn the ways, will, thoughts and logic of God.

You need to prayerfully study the Scripture and ask for illumination of the Spirit of God.

You need to understand the basics of the Gospel.

You need to understand the Nature of God, and the nature and fate of man, and the reason for the life and work of Christ and the purpose of the Church.

You need to see the Big Picture from Creation to Redemption to Everlasting Life and Punishment.

You need to embrace the meaning of life, and the purpose of Man, and ultimate goal of God in this.

What do you know or believe?

How does it serve or guide you?

Are you mindful of these things?

Are you indifferent or ignorant?

Will you think about it?

  Do we have genuine connections? I’ll give a quick definition of the word supplant. So I can dwell more on the concept of support. To supplant means to take the place of, to displace, to replace or to undermine.  To support is to be actively interested in and concerned for the success of a person or thing, for example: supporting a particular sports team. It also means to provide assistance to, or give approval, comfort, or encouragement to.  It is a product of goodwill and belief in someone or something.  Many of us support different football teams which we gladly and passionately refer to as “our teams”.
