Satan is a necessary obstacle that every wayfarer on their way to the Celestial City must encounter. He will come in different forms and fashions. Different brands, packages and labeling. It’s when you are unknown and perhaps broke that you really know who loves you and got your back.  Not when you’ve ‘blown’ and become a sensation or celebrity.  There are certain celebrities that I personally knew when they were broke and unknown—a few I even helped with transport money back in the days. There are certain currently well-to-do people I bought lunch for when they had no income. There are some people that I had made sacrifices for—to help them get their first car or get married or something that meant a lot to them back then. Without strings attached. No matter how logical and intellectual people are. Humans are basically emotional creatures. What other people do has significant effects on our emotions, no matter how we try to deny it. Circumstances also greatly impact our emotions. But to what extent? It depends on individual capacity. Many people make decisions based off of their feelings. It takes a high level of emotional energy or maturity to remain objective, rational and unbiased in every situation, especially when one is not under duress or the effects of other extreme factors, and also especially when it involves family and friends. It takes well-developed emotional strength to be able to dutifully implement the good that is due even to a perceived foe without any prejudice, especially when it Is in your power to execute it. This strength gap or growth gap is reason why effective leadership is farfetched in certain climes, communities and organizations, as it is markedly lopsided and diametrically unaccountable. Some people may think that their intellectual and academic prowess or career and financial success immunizes them from gross religious deception. Not at all, for that is purely rooted in their personal scriptural and spiritual ignorance. Even professors can be deceived by false prophets. Doctors, lawyers and engineers can be completely ignorant of God and the realm of the spirit. Even the materially wealthy may be spiritually poor. Even the elderly may be spiritually immature. These are different fields of thought and play. You can’t throw money at demons as exorcism. You can’t solve false doctrines with calculus. You have to play by the rules of the peculiar game. Laws and principles are not subject to our personal beliefs, wishes, feelings, whims and caprices. There are universal and not individual. The Church really has no business marrying people. I have never seen anywhere in the Holy Bible where any apostle of Jesus Christ, or any holy prophet of old, or any priest in the Holy Temple, or any Jewish rabbi or teacher in any of the synagogues, or any pastor, bishop or overseer in any of the assemblies of Early Church believers joined a man and woman in marriage. Yes, marriage was instituted by God as other natural and social processes such as working, interacting, dressing, eating, sleeping, mating, etc. Yet, it only became a religious sacrament when Church and State were commingled in an unholy sociopolitical and socioeconomic union of men.
