LOSING ETERNAL LIFE/SALVATION?



“Salvation is forever. You don’t get it, and lose it, and hopefully get it back again; it is forever.” (John MacArthur, Bible teacher and author)

As for the devil, he wishes a believer can lose their salvation, that’s why he brings temptations to introduce sin to the physical experience of believers.

He wishes that by making you fall into sin, he has succeeded in making you lose your salvation.

Do you see his malevolent game now?

So he tempts you into strife, wrath, lust, pride, greed, envy, partiality, impure thoughts, and all manner of works of the flesh—to tackle and trip you mentally and emotionally into thinking and feeling that you have lost your exclusive saved status.

But that’s a fool’s game. He is totally wrong.

He uses false friends and false believers to accomplish this sadistic endeavor. But do you know what Christ said about those who cause others to stumble or sin? It’s most horrible and terrible; you should research it—if you care to know.

The devil also uses false teaching/doctrine to cast aspersions on the perfect Work of Christ.

Thus, false teachers, false friends and false believers are all indirectly working for Satan, who is the father of all falsehoods and liars.

They all seek to undermine the Sacrifice of Christ. 

They actually seek to erode the assurance of salvation and the joy of salvation in a believer. 

False teaching is a tool in the hands of Satan.

The problem is that most people who ‘go to church’, ‘answered an altar call’ or recited a ‘sinner’s prayer’ and thus who presume that they are same are not saved, thus one must personally, honestly evaluate themselves to be sure that they are truly saved. 

As Paul would admonish believers in the Early Church: “make sure/certain your election (by God to salvation)” and “examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith, or don’t you know that Christ dwells in you?”

Believers must seek to understand the truth of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

The truth will make you free from the machinations and manipulations of the devil and his falsehood.

The devil is a liar. False preachers peddle lies.

Christ is the Truth. Know Christ. Know the truth. 

“We are saved by Grace (God’s gift/act in Christ’s work) through Faith (God’s work in the heart of man by His Spirit/Word); and this is not of ourselves. It is the gift of God, not of works (human efforts to fulfill all the Holy Laws of Holy God), lest any man should boast.” (Paul the apostle of Christ to the Gentile world, by the inspiration of the Spirit to believers in Galatia, a region in central Asia Minor, namely, modern Turkey; parentheses mine).

We are blessed and saved by Almighty God.

Praise and honor be to the glory of His Grace.

WHY TRUTH?

  The following are questions that I have been curiously asked by some of the people who have read or heard what I write or say, over the years: “Why are you saying these things?” “Why are you sharing (biblical but unconventional) truths?  “Are you a pastor?” Let me break them down them into different possible thought processes that have generated them: In other words:  Who gave you the authority to say these things?  What (moral, spiritual or positional) right or ranking do you really have to speak publicly about them?  Are you holy, righteous or anointed enough to say things that obviously challenge (albeit in a non-confrontational way) the religious status quo? SCRIPTURE IS INERRANT AND SUFFICIENT

  The Holy Scripture is inerrant and sufficient. Inerrant simply means incapable of being wrong. Sufficient of course means enough or adequate. To deny the inerrancy of Scripture is to call into question and cast doubt on the God revealed in the Scripture, on Christ who died, rose and is coming back as Judge and King, and on man’s salvation from eternal damnation which is solely based on the Cross and Work of Christ, the Word of God.  Scripture is either true or the God of the Bible, who is the God of love and righteousness, mercy and justice, grace and truth, revealed by and in the Lord Jesus Christ as “Our Father who is in Heaven” is not real but a fable or figment of man's imagination.  The Bible is the absolute truth of God. Albeit misunderstood and misused by so many in the false profession and practice of Christian religion for inglorious purposes and transient benefits, the Bible is essentially about the Gospel of Christ, which is the power of God unto salvation to everyone
