RELIGION HATES CHRIST

Do you really realize how deeply and intensely the Pharisees, chief priests, elders and the majority of the Jewish people hated Christ?

After all the good things He had done for people.

What terrible wrong had He done to them?

What bad thing did He even do to them?

If not cooked up accusations and twisted stories forged against Him to make Him look like an evil person so that they would justify their intended plan of wickedness against Him.

If not carefully and cunningly devised schemes to find or fashion something unwholesome and apparently un.forgivable or d*mnable to use against Him?

What had Jesus actually done to them to deserve such intensity of hatred?

It was deeply destructive, desperately wicked and demonically powered hatred originating from Satan.

It was almost unexplainable. It was not normal.

Definitely, spirits were involved in the matter.

Sadly, there are many people who don’t believe in Christ today, including the Jews of today.

Even more sadly, there are people who say they believe in Jesus and use His Name to deceive, enslave and exploit multitudes in order to enrich themselves.

These w!cked people will go to lengths to threaten, sabotage, discredit, distress, persecute and even seek to delete those who truly know and (very peacefully but powerfully) proclaim the truth of Christ.

Satan knows and hates those who belong to Christ.

Forget the reasons they give to cover up.

Other people have same reasons too, if so.

Why you? Why me? Why us?

Jesus they know and hated.

Paul they know and hated.

If you are in that spiritual lineage, they hate you too already! I mean, already.

Interested in reading the sacred Biblical texts that depict this demonic-religious hatred?

Then keep reading.

This is John’s account of what transpired when the chief priests, religious leaders and elders of the Jewish people took Jesus to Pilate to be condemned and crucified:

^^^

Pilate then took Jesus and flogged Him.

And when the soldiers twisted together a crown of thorns, they put it on His head, and put a purple robe on Him;

and they were coming to Him and saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!” and were giving Him slaps in the face.

And Pilate came out again and said to them, “Behold, I am bringing Him out to you so that you may know that I find no guilt in Him.”

Jesus then came out, wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe. Pilate said to them, “Behold, the man!”

So when the chief priests and the officers saw Him, they cried out saying, “Crucify, crucify!” Pilate said to them, “Take Him yourselves and crucify Him, for I find no guilt in Him.”

The Jews answered him, “We have a law, and by that law He ought to die because He made Himself out to be the Son of God.”

Therefore when Pilate heard this statement, he became more afraid;

and he entered into the Praetorium again and said to Jesus, “Where are You from?” But Jesus gave him no answer.

So Pilate said to Him, “You do not speak to me? Do You not know that I have authority to release You, and I have authority to crucify You?”

Jesus answered, “You would have no authority over Me, unless it had been given you from above; for this reason he who delivered Me to you has the greater sin.”

As a result of this Pilate kept seeking to release Him, but the Jews cried out saying, “If you release this man, you are no friend of Caesar; everyone who makes himself to be a king opposes Caesar.”

See how Matthew penned down his own account:

^^^

Now at the feast the governor was accustomed to release for the crowd any one prisoner whom they wanted.

And at that time they were holding a notorious prisoner, called Barabbas.

So when the people gathered together, Pilate said to them, “Whom do you want me to release for you? Barabbas, or Jesus who is called Christ?”

For he knew that because of envy they had delivered Him over.

Now while he was sitting on the judgment seat, his wife sent him a message, saying, “Have nothing to do with that righteous Man; for last night I suffered greatly in a dream because of Him.”

But the chief priests and the elders persuaded the crowds to ask for Barabbas and to put Jesus to death.

But the governor answered and said to them, “Which of the two do you want me to release for you?” And they said, “Barabbas.”

Pilate said to them, “Then, what shall I do with Jesus who is called Christ?” They all said, “Let Him be crucified!”

And he said, “Why, what evil did He do?” But they were crying out all the more, saying, “Let Him be crucified!”

Now when Pilate saw that he was accomplishing nothing, but rather that a riot was starting, he took water and washed his hands in front of the crowd, saying, “I am innocent of this man’s blood; see to that yourselves.”

And all the people answered and said, “His blood be on us and on our children!”

Then he released Barabbas for them; but after having Jesus scourged, he delivered Him over to be crucified.
