TRUE SALVATION

You cannot lose your salvation, except you are not truly saved.

If you're not truly saved, then you can fall away after tasting (not truly eating and ingesting) the living seed of God's Word which produces genuine faith that endures to the end. In other words, not living (that is, being made alive) by God's Word, not having God’s life, not born of The Word and The Spirit, not made spiritually alive.

Simply put, such a one is not saved.

"Now there was a certain man among the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler (member of the Sanhedrin) among the Jews,

who came to Jesus at night and said to Him, “Rabbi (Teacher), we know [without any doubt] that You have come from God as a teacher; for no one can do these signs [these wonders, these attesting miracles] that You do unless God is with him.”

Jesus answered him, “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, unless a person is born again [reborn from above--spiritually transformed, renewed, sanctified], he cannot [ever] see and experience the kingdom of God.”

Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter his mother’s womb a second time and be born, can he?”

Jesus answered, “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot [ever] enter the kingdom of God.

That which is born of the flesh is flesh [the physical is merely physical], and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Do not be surprised that I have told you, ‘You must be born again [reborn from above--spiritually transformed, renewed, sanctified].’

The wind blows where it wishes and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it is coming from and where it is going; so it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

(John 3:3-8 AMP)

The Scripture is clear on the Doctrine of Eternal Salvation or Eternal Security.

The sheep that are My own hear My voice and listen to Me; I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they will never, ever [by any means] perish; and no one will ever snatch them out of My hand." (John 10:27,28)

“Based on the hope and divine guarantee of eternal life, [the life] which God, who is ever truthful and without deceit, promised before the ages of time began." (Titus 1:2 AMP)

Fact is, you cannot save yourself.

No human being can save themselves by themselves from God's Holy Wrath on sin, namely, eternal damnation.

Anyone who is saved has been saved by God not by themselves. It is only by His Mercy and Grace.

Everyone called to salvation has been predestined by God to be conformed to the image of His Son.

"For those whom He foreknew [and loved and chose beforehand], He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son [and ultimately share in His complete sanctification], so that He would be the firstborn [the most beloved and honored] among many believers." (Romans 8:29 AMP)

Any alleged salvation that is powered or preserved by man and not by God does not originate from God. A true child of God is born of God, has the life or Spirit of God, desires the Word of God to grow spiritually and will produce the fruit of God's Spirit.

Note this: Many who think or presume that they are “Christians” are not genuinely born again.

To the wicked, this strong warning is made: "Repent, have a change of heart and mind, turn from your wicked ways, flee from the Wrath of God coming on the wicked world, surrender to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior; for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!"

What should every professing believer do?

It behoves every believer to examine themselves to be sure that they are genuinely born again and thus that they have been "saved from eternal damnation".

"Examine yourselves to see if your faith is genuine. Test yourselves. Surely you know that Jesus Christ is among you; if not, you have failed the test of genuine faith." (2Corinthians 13:5 NLT)

"Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you—unless indeed you fail the test?" (2Corinthians 13:5 NASB)

There are key witnesses (in the invisible and visible dimensions) that tell you and others you are saved.

One, The Spirit's witness within you, which includes the desire and dominant presence and recurrence of The Scripture and Scriptural Truth in your life.

Two, the evidence of spiritual fruit, which includes righteous living (holy conduct and godly love) and personal testifying of Christ (sharing The Gospel).

Light is known by its qualities of producing illumination, brightness or color. Likewise, darkness is known by its innate qualities of removing illumination and reducing vision.

Spiritual light (God's Truth) enhances true spiritual vision (spiritual enlightenment or understanding) by illuminating and flooding the believer's heart with the ever-increasing knowledge of God in Christ Jesus

Spiritual darkness (ignorance of Scriptural Truth) diminishes the vision of God in a man's heart.

Do take time to read the Scriptural texts below.

"But the path of the just (righteous) is like the light of dawn, That shines brighter and brighter until [it reaches its full strength and glory in] the perfect day." (Proverbs 4:18 AMP)

And [I pray] that the eyes of your heart [the very center and core of your being] may be enlightened [flooded with light by the Holy Spirit], so that you will know and cherish the hope [the divine guarantee, the confident expectation] to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints (God’s people),

and [so that you will begin to know] what the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His [active, spiritual] power is in us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of His mighty strength

which He produced in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places,

far above all rule and authority and power and dominion [whether angelic or human], and [far above] every name that is named [above every title that can be conferred], not only in this age and world but also in the one to come.

And He put all things [in every realm] in subjection under Christ’s feet, and appointed Him as [supreme and authoritative] head over all things in the church,

which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills and completes all things in all [believers].

(Ephesians 1:18-22 AMP)

"But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen." (2Peter 3:18)

Selah...

CHRIST IS GOD. Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
