STRENGTH IN WEAKNESS

Sometimes what seems to be a weakness to the undiscerning eye is simply an inverted strength.

Hidden within certain adjudged imperfections are powerful underlying riches.

A shortcoming may actually turn out to even be a saving grace or serving girdle.

As the adage goes: “Every disappointment is a blessing in disguise.”

A similar saying captures it in more spiritually profound terms: “Man’s disappointments are God’s appointments.”

These are potentially far-reaching blessings and benefits, or areas of strength, locked up in seeming vulnerabilities. I will outline three below.

1 - Overcoming Offenses:

The laidback, mellow and tolerant nature of not fighting back when triggered. The refusal to, or restraint from, reacting aggressively to acute hostility or deliberate provocation.

Unethical opportunists and criminal minds may take advantage of this trait in others to defraud them, thinking they can get away with it.

They don't know what they are doing to themselves by choosing to be wicked. That is their business and their choice. They may delude themselves that they can outsmart God. Pitiful souls.

As a child of God, you should keep your focus on your own Christian duty to do God's Will (that is, to obey God's Word).

This attitude also helps douse escalation, saves you from intended repercussions and more importantly vindicates you in God's sight as not giving offense.

2 - Approaching Adversity

The induced, imposed or artificial discipline of material deprivation or physical lack that enforces and facilitates the intense imbibing of personal discipline with assisted initialization or ancillary aid to the process of mental and physical conditioning that builds mental fortitude and moral character

3 - Constructing Character

The significant deficit in basic character, ethics, principles, core values and personal boundaries results in massive moral failure and major life crisis which can in turn lead to or trigger a season of deep, intentional or stimulated spiritual renewal, genuine repentance, and total commitment or consecration.

"Godly sorrow leads to repentance."

With spiritual growth and discipline, a person develops virtuous character and moral fortitude.

They will then be able to live by principles, ethics and values that include love, purpose, intentionality, visionfocus, commitment and consistency.

Those who know the end lose their anxiety.

"Those who know their God (whose God is the True God of Absolute Truth) are strong and do exploits."

Those who know The One who is The Beginning and The End lose their fear of the unknown and are free of all fears including the fear of death (timed sleep).

"You shall know truth and truth shall make you free."
