LISTEN TO LOVE


Listen and learn from everyone be it friend or foe. 

But don’t listen much to people who don’t like you. 

They will always see and say something wrong and discouraging or discrediting about whatever you’re doing and especially when you’re evolving or going through certain sensitive phases or transitions.

Don’t worry about them—they will deeply regret it.

The Almighty Creator will fix all things accordingly.

But change your own focus to what is good.

Listen more to those who truly believe in you.

They can see your value or potential.

They are gracious enough to give room for your lapses, gaps, shortcoming, blunders or excesses.

They acknowledge your gifts and strengths. 

They celebrate you genuinely without motive.

They correct you helpfully—to help you improve. 

They accommodate your learning process/phase.

They allow you to be yourself without pretending.

They extend grace and goodwill.

They like you authentically, fame or no fame.

Money or no money. Mistakes and all.

They see beyond the pose to the person.

They are patient with you yet rebuke you when you mess up big time, but it’s never to undermine you.

It’s never to publicly disgrace you.

It’s never to privately destrōy you.

They do not despise you—they truly ‘see’ you.

The beautiful and vulnerable yet powerful ‘you’.

Deep inside of all that frame and fashion.

They ultimately want the best for you.

Cherish them. Connect with them. 

Listen to them. Love them right back.

  Do we have genuine connections? I’ll give a quick definition of the word supplant. So I can dwell more on the concept of support. To supplant means to take the place of, to displace, to replace or to undermine.  To support is to be actively interested in and concerned for the success of a person or thing, for example: supporting a particular sports team. It also means to provide assistance to, or give approval, comfort, or encouragement to.  It is a product of goodwill and belief in someone or something.  Many of us support different football teams which we gladly and passionately refer to as “our teams”.
