OVERCOMING TRAUMA


Do not let the trauma from the past taint the goodness in your heart, in spite of its impact on your physical, mental and emotional health.

Everyone will still leave this Earth one day. The difference is the time between each man’s “time”. The period of experiencing good and evil in this life. This period is what we call our “lifetime”.

In summary: one is born, we eat, we grow, we work, we eat more, we grow more, we play, we sleep, we wake up, aluta continua, until we exit this realm.

So, it’s your choice to decide to live it to the fullest by being full of love, joy, peace, goodness, etc. 

Or, to let the world mar your soul because of the negative experiences it has unleashed on you. 

Forgive them, forgive yourself, learn your lessons. 

Cry, if you must. Shout, if you have to. 

Rest and retreat, as much as you need to.

Fight, but fairly (fight for good not to do bad).

Make your mistakes. Embrace your flaws.

Don’t pretend. Shun the hypocritical naysayers.

Be strong. Be good. Be happy. Be true. Be loyal.

Love again, if you want. Cut off, if you need to.

Take your time to heal and feel yourself again.

Nourish your mind with wholesome thoughts.

Trust in the Lord and don’t depend on mortals.

Then live your life by the help of the Almighty God. 

It all ends one day for everyone, rich or poor, colored or Caucasian, known or unknown, male or female, on this Earth. 

Be careful what you do to your fellow man. 

Seek to please God in all you do and even in your “unseen thoughts”. (Did you catch that?) 

Sincerely confess your wrongs and seek His help to do right by Him - by His standards and regulations.

Not to please men but to please God.

You will fail. Don’t let unjust mockers perturb you.

People will always be people - fallen human flesh.

Only few will walk in the Spirit of the Living Christ.

Love people and do good - because of God.

If you do it for man, you will fail when man fails.

Live your life in reference to the True God.

SCRIPTURE IS INERRANT AND SUFFICIENT

  The Holy Scripture is inerrant and sufficient. Inerrant simply means incapable of being wrong. Sufficient of course means enough or adequate. To deny the inerrancy of Scripture is to call into question and cast doubt on the God revealed in the Scripture, on Christ who died, rose and is coming back as Judge and King, and on man’s salvation from eternal damnation which is solely based on the Cross and Work of Christ, the Word of God.  Scripture is either true or the God of the Bible, who is the God of love and righteousness, mercy and justice, grace and truth, revealed by and in the Lord Jesus Christ as “Our Father who is in Heaven” is not real but a fable or figment of man's imagination.  The Bible is the absolute truth of God.
