TRUSTED COMPANION

Marrying a trusted companion is different from marrying an opportunist and user of people.

A trusted companion is a person who genuinely cares about you and is also emotionally mature enough to be entrusted with sensitive matters.

An opportunist and user, on the other hand, is only looking for the suitable candidate to take undue advantage of without necessarily caring about that other person’s own feelings, interests and needs.

This clearly shows that an opportunist is largely self-centred and unable to cater to the deeper needs of their unlucky partner in marriage.

This can be frustrating for their partners.

Whether male or female, it is important to ensure that you are not only interested in marrying a person who can take care of you emotionally, financially, physically and otherwise but that you can also take care of them in similar ways or in the manner they really need.

In marriage, you don’t want to be the only one sacrificing your all.

You also don’t want to be the only one receiving all the love and care, at the detriment of your partner.

Both scenarios are not sustainable or desirable.

More importantly, they are not healthy for humans.

Learn to talk about these things before marriage.

Prioritize open and honest communication.

Understand each other’s expectations and needs.

You’ll be glad you did.

Best wishes!
