RECOGNIZING THE KING
Think with me for a moment…
Is it not rather remarkably insightful and instructive that spiritually enlightened and informed non-religious men recognized Christ as God or Divine King deserving of their heartfelt and unreserved worship even when He was a baby sleeping in a manger, a feeding tray for cattle and sheep, which was used as his makeshift baby cot.
Yet renowned and leading religious leaders didn’t recognize Christ even as a full-grown adult who had spent time publicly proclaiming and teaching the salient and profound truths of the Kingdom of God, and doing the practical good works of Love in their midst.
What does this clearly demonstrate to us all?
What does this teach those paying attention?
What should our attitude to knowing God be?
Do you truly recognize the King? (Ponder on it)
May we humble ourselves in the place of private prayer and study, asking and trusting God to open our hearts and the inner eyes of our understanding to deeply, richly, authentically and progressively know, understand and experience His Person, His Heart, His Truth, His Love, His Spirit, His Life—personally and genuinely!
May we grow in grace and knowledge of Christ.
Amen.
