NAUGHTY BY NATURE

 


“Because by nature I’m a sinner.”

I’m naughty and nutty by nature. I now know.

You are too. Maybe you know, maybe you don’t.

But I won’t justify or make excuses for my sin. 

Yes, fellow sinners set things up. 

Yes, the wicked connived and conspired. 

Yes, mischievous masterminds happily or hatefully devised their craft of corruption.

But then I had sinful capacity for it.

Albeit twisted and corrupted the narrative.

Albeit manipulated and falsified the script.

All humanity is fallen. Depraved. Wretched.

Scripture declares: “All have sinned and have fallen short of God’s glory. There is none righteous. None seeks after God.”

“No one comes to Me except the Father draws them to Me,” Christ the Savior revealed.

We are all sinners. Period. 

We are all damned except as saved by Christ. 

That’s the Good news!

Anyone who is saved is only “saved by Grace through Faith. It is a gift from God.” Period.

It is the Grace of God. To Him be the glory!

For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.

WORSHIP!

  What is Worship? Worship is reverential adoration and devotion. It is the deeply embedded heart attitude and habitual practice of holding highest regard, giving supreme adulation, paying unparalleled homage, rendering foremost service or according topmost dedication to someone or something.  Human beings were designed to worship. This means, we are all naturally wired to be devoted to something or someone we reckon or perceive to be most grandiose or to be the greatest Thing or Being worthy of our keenest attention, truest affection, deepest love and highest loyalty. SCRIPTURE IS INERRANT AND SUFFICIENT

  The Holy Scripture is inerrant and sufficient. Inerrant simply means incapable of being wrong. Sufficient of course means enough or adequate. To deny the inerrancy of Scripture is to call into question and cast doubt on the God revealed in the Scripture, on Christ who died, rose and is coming back as Judge and King, and on man’s salvation from eternal damnation which is solely based on the Cross and Work of Christ, the Word of God.  Scripture is either true or the God of the Bible, who is the God of love and righteousness, mercy and justice, grace and truth, revealed by and in the Lord Jesus Christ as “Our Father who is in Heaven” is not real but a fable or figment of man's imagination.  The Bible is the absolute truth of God. Albeit misunderstood and misused by so many in the false profession and practice of Christian religion for inglorious purposes and transient benefits, the Bible is essentially about the Gospel of Christ, which is the power of God unto salvation to everyone
