SEXUALITY VS SEXUAL IMMORALITY

If you ONLY feel guilt about sexual immorality but do NOT have the conviction of the Spirit over other sins in your life, then you have religion and self-righteousness NOT true holiness and sanctification.

A FALSE sense of guilt over sexual sin comes largely from a FALSE perception of SEX that is deeply rooted in a FALSE sense of pietism or a FALSE concept of holiness. That is why a pseudo-religious married couple may even feel guilty after having sex. 

They may have either not built an authentic and emotionally intimate relationship or their weak consciences and immature minds have been tainted or inhibited by a rather FALSE sense of religiosity that does not understand the distinction between sex and sexual sin or between sexuality and sexual immorality.

Sex is NO sin. 

Sexual immorality is sin.

Yet, sexual vice, impurity or immorality is sin NOT because of the "sexual" part but because of the "vice", "impurity" or "immorality" part, namely, performing it outside the proper context and conduct: a marriage relationship (which should be founded on love, truth, commitment, fairness, trust, etc) and without perversion in dissipation, debauchery or depravity.

All immorality is sin including lying, stealing, coveting, envying, boasting, manipulating, maligning, etc. 

Perhaps, why sexual sin is powerful over mortals is because it is the only sin against the believer's body which is the earthly temple or tabernacle of the Holy Spirit.

Also, the body is what carnal or physical man can relate more with and thus ascribes preeminence to.

Without a doubt, sex was created and designed by God for the good purposes of pleasure and procreation which serve mankind while we are on this Earth. 

(There is NO marriage of men and women in the coming Kingdom of Heaven. Only the biblically metaphorical sense of spiritual marriage union between the Lord and His Body, the true Church).

As is true to his nature, Satan hijacks and perverts the God-given beauty and glories of sex through divers unwholseome and unhealthy sexual lusts that put people in dysfunctional or addictive conditions. 

The Lord Jesus, through the working of the Holy Spirit in us, seeks to furnish us with "self-control" to manage our sex drives and emotions as we mature NOT by discrediting sex or disabling sexuality in us. 

He also empowers us with His WORD to grow our spirits strong and able to "resist" the enemy of our souls who seeks to take advantage, take control or usurp access to and authority over our legitimate sexual needs and desires.
