ATHEISM

I do not suppose there is an intelligent atheist:

The crude atheist categorically denies and rejects the existence of God because they can’t PROVE it.

That is unfounded denial and sheer prejudice.

Admitted ignorance would be more noble.

An intelligent mind would rather say this:

I do not KNOW if there is God or not…

However I’m WILLING to know and ACCEPT the fact of the existence of God IF I find it to be true.

But if I can’t find a good reason to accept the idea of the existence of God, then I would be content to admit that I do NOT know if there is God.

That’s the logical and rational way to go about it.

This is more sensible than to claim there is no God.

So it is better to admit to current ignorance than to presume a pseudo knowledge which is unfounded or based on denial of possibility of the unknown.

Keeping an open mind, not letting preconceptions or biases shut one’s mind off to said possibility.

A stark atheist’s position thus seems illogical to me.

Abientot!
