The fundamental difference in people is not in what they go through, where they come from or in their height, size, complexion, status, location or those external factors but in internal factors which define the texture of their true being, nature and personality: their hearts and minds , that is who they really are in essence and how they think .   The key difference in people is in each person’s  perspective , attitude and thinking pattern or thought process  (how as individuals people think about whatever happens, whatever is happening or whatever has happened).  "As a man thinks in his heart, so is he." They may target unbelievers or certain believers who they erroneously and spitefully consider to be unbelievers.   Testing boundaries is inevitable. It will happen. It happens at different times and seasons. It happens with different motives and reasons. Sometimes they come as offenses or temptations to sin against God and man. One day Jesus said to his disciples, “There will always be temptations to sin, but what sorrow awaits the person who does the tempting!" (Luke 17:1 NLT) Then He said to the disciples, “It is impossible that no offenses should come, but woe to him through whom they do come!" (Luke 17:1 NKJV) Sometimes they come as persecution and trials. Testing the genuineness of our faith through trials is for our ultimate good and to the glory of God. It purifies us, like gold is tested and purified by fire. You cannot lose your salvation, e xcept you are not truly saved. If you're not truly saved, then you can fall away afte r tasting ( not truly eating and ingesting) the living seed of God's Word which produces genuine faith that endures to the end. In other words, n ot living (that is, being made alive) by God's Word, not having God’s life, n ot born of The Word and The Spirit, n ot made spiritually alive.  Simply put, such a one is not saved.
