EVEN SATAN HAS A PURPOSE

Said the Sparrow to the Vulture: "You're a very evil bird. You like living things to die so you can feast on them. Why are you so wicked? Is it your nature to devour the dead bodies of fellow animals? Has God cursed you to take delight in death?"

The Vulture without a flicker of remorse retorted brashly in a devil-may-care manner to the perplexed Sparrow: "I am a scavenger! God created me to clear away dead things to give space for new things. Maybe God's curse that you speak of is that this is where I must eat from, here is how I feed so I must do this as my needful. But know this, I am important in the biological ecosystem because I help to take away dead things from the Earth."

Morale:

There is a reason for everything. Find the meaning behind the matter. Problems, trials and suffering have their purpose. Even Satan the great deceiver and destroyer is fulfilling his purpose of deception and destruction. This he must do until the time appointed by the LORD for his Eternal Judgment.

Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet (encounter or fall into) trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness (endurance or perseverance). And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.” (James 1:2-4, ESV with NASB, LSB in parenthesis).

NB:

* Sparrows primarily eat livestock feed, including cracked corn, cereal grains, oats, wheat, rice, and dried insects. These birds also feed on chopped fruits and berries in winter when regular food sources are scarce. They even feast on human food and kitchen leftovers.

* Vultures are scavengers or carnivores that eat on the carcasses of other animals. This means they eat mostly carrion (dead bodies' leftovers) and aren't fussy about which animals they eat.
