Does he care if he tells you to sleep a little longer when you wake up to pray? Does he care about your health? Does he care if he reminds you of all your bills and pressing needs or quizzes you on why you want to give your tithes and offerings? Does he care about your welfare? Does he care if he suggests to you that you need to get down with someone you’re not married to because you need physical or emotional intimacy? Does he really care about your emotional health? If he tells you to not forgive, or to not humble yourself and apologize, or to not give support of any kind that you are capable of, do you think he is protecting you, or helping you cultivate relationships, or doing you any good?
